GREENLIGHT TO PRODUCE STAR WARS - THE CLONE WARS THEMED DIE-CAST

Indianapolis, IN (August 21, 2008) – Back on May 25, 2008, Marco Andretti drove an Indiana Jones themed Andretti Green Racing IndyCar at the 92nd Running of the Indianapolis 500®.  Marco returns to the glamour of Hollywood for a second time at the Peak Antifreeze & Motor Oil Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma on August 24, 2008 – this time behind the wheel of a Star Wars: “The Clone Wars” IndyCar. 

Andretti Green Racing, Blockbuster Inc and Lucasfilm Ltd are collaborating for the second time in 2008, this time in support of the highly anticipated Star Wars: “The Clone Wars” animated feature from Lucasfilm.  Marco's #26 IndyCar will feature a promotional design during the Grand Prix of Sonoma to assist in the marketing and promotion of the major film release, and for the second time, die-cast model cars are a part of the program.

GreenLight will be producing 1:18 (Approx. 11” long) and 1:64 (Approx. 3” long) scale die-cast replicas of the Marco Andretti/ Star Wars: “The Clone Wars” IndyCar for Holiday 2008 release.  These die-cast cars will be available to the general public through www.starwarsshop.com (currently accepting pre-orders), www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com, and through a variety of trackside vendors at future IndyCar Series events.
